Group Waveform Normalize in Adobe Audition

Wednesday, 8 April, 2009

Doing sound and music for “Last Cappuccino” (more on that project some other day) in Audition, I discovered a useful fuctionality called “Group Waveform Normalize” which – I bet you guessed it – allows you to normalize a group of waveforms. Exactly what I needed for my re-recorded voices…

You can access it either by going to edit->Group Waveform Normalize or by right-clicking any clip in the files panel. It’s a straightforward three-step process.
