Audition back for CS5?

Wednesday, 4 November, 2009

It has been silent around Adobe’s professional audio application for a while.
Audition users should find this exciting:

“as we are working on the next version of Audition”

If they are working on it now, it might be just ready for april 2010 (when CS5 will most likely be released).

Group Waveform Normalize in Adobe Audition

Wednesday, 8 April, 2009

Doing sound and music for “Last Cappuccino” (more on that project some other day) in Audition, I discovered a useful fuctionality called “Group Waveform Normalize” which – I bet you guessed it – allows you to normalize a group of waveforms. Exactly what I needed for my re-recorded voices…

You can access it either by going to edit->Group Waveform Normalize or by right-clicking any clip in the files panel. It’s a straightforward three-step process.

happy recording
